Johnny's backstoryGrowing up in Scotland, Soap was inspired to join the British Army by his cousin, a member of the 23 Regiment of the SAS.
After his 18th birthday, he entered the rigorous Special Air Service selection. His evaluator was Captain John Price. Soap earned his famous moniker because he "cleans house" with relentless speed and precision during close-quarters combat (CQB) and urban warfare exercises.
Soap scored incredibly high across all three phases of his training, trailing just seconds behind the course record holder, Kyle "Gaz" Garrick.Following his training, Soap was hand-picked by Captain Price to become a foundational member of the newly formed Task Force 141, fighting alongside Lt. Simon "Ghost" Riley.
During missions to stop stolen ballistic missiles in 2022, Soap and the 141 were betrayed by General Shepherd and Shadow Company. Soap, alongside Ghost and the Mexican Special Forces ("Los Vaqueros"), fought a desperate guerrilla war to clear their names.

Johnny's AuJohn has been experimented by scientist. He really didn't like the idea at first because this was going against his free will. He didn't want to turn into an animal. To him, it sounded ridiculous.It actually took him two month to like it. He was surprised that he was actually a Golden Retriever. A cute Golden Retriever. It's now his comfort animal.

Starting as the youngest candidate ever to pass SAS selection, his determination borders on the stubborn. He is known to push through devastating injuries to complete a mission or save a teammate.
As a seasoned CQB (Close Quarters Battle) and demolitions expert, he has an instinctive, fearless approach to combat.
